Our Company.
Triplex Components Machining evolved from the machining companies within Triplex Components Group which was then acquired on 6th November 2007 by the Amtek Group who also own Ketlon Ltd, another automotive machining company based in Kent. Triplex has two sites within the UK, Hereford and Stratford-Upon-Avon.
|
The site at Stratford-Upon-Avon was originally Peak Engineering and the company was established in 1940 to service the increasingly complex requirements of the automotive and defence industries based in the Midlands. It then expanded to cover operations in Hereford, where a sister company, Aeroparts Engineering, existed separately until being merged with Peak in 1986. On the 6th November 2007 Amtek acquired Ketlon Ltd.
With Triplex being a major player in the European Automotive Component Industry and having an excellent portfolio of businesses supplying many of the major customers in Europe. |

Amtek is delighted with this acquisition as believes it enhances Amtek's Worldwide overseas businesses and takes the sales revenues of the Amtek Businesses outside of India to approximately $750 Million per year. In total this takes the Amtek Group worldwide revenue to excess of $1,3 Billion from 38 manufacturing sites.

Ketlon Ltd
Established in 1976, Ketlon Limited designs, manufactures and assembles gears, shafts, and sprockets for the UK, European and American automotive industry. |
|
In addition to the core product offering, the company also has the capability to manufacture axle shafts, hubs, drums and safety critical prismatic steering and chassis components. |
Housed in a modern purpose built factory in the heart of Kent the company is conveniently situated for channel crossings and the two London airports. |
A substantial investment programme has been ongoing since 1995 on the latest state of the art technologies to meet customers ever increasing technical and commercial demands, and in line with Ketlon's culture of continuous improvement and continuous learning the company is constantly applying the latest production knowledge and techniques to its business.
